Hosting on your own PC needs no credit. For cloud servers there is a monthly cloud credit, depending on the plan; how much of it an hour uses is shown under “Cloud hours”.
Paying is not possible yet.
The beta is free. Subscriptions and cloud hours are not bookable yet; the prices show what is planned and may still change before booking starts.

Cloud credit
How a cloud server is paid for
- Plan credit
- Plans with cloud credit add it every month. In the test phase it can only be saved up to a cap; the amounts are on the cards above.
- Credits
- Additional credit, for example from the alpha. It is only used after the plan credit. Buying credits isn't possible yet.
- Cloud hours
- A cloud server uses credit at the hourly rate of its size. The app limits the runtime to what your credit covers.
- Hosting on your own PC
- Needs no credit. Sync and relay are included in the plan, within its limits.

Can I pay yet?
No. There is no payment step during the beta: Plus, Pro and buying credits come later. The prices show what is planned.
What happens after the test phase?
Your account switches to Free automatically. No paid subscription is created and you don't need to cancel anything. You can book Plus and Pro voluntarily afterwards, once that is possible.
What does cloud hosting cost?
Cloud sessions are paid from your cloud credit by runtime and chosen size. The hourly rates are above under “Cloud hours”.
